Meet Rama

At first by chance and later by design, I kept finding myself inside organizations at critical moments — exponential growth through integration, businesses starting up in newly expanding economies, companies transitioning their core model, or urgently adapting to a competitive landscape that had shifted faster than anyone anticipated.

I did not plan it that way. But after living across three continents, working across six industries, and holding leadership roles in business HR, organizational effectiveness, and leadership development — in organizations ranging from early-stage to Fortune 100 — I stopped being surprised by the pattern. The organizations that navigated these moments well were not the ones with the most sophisticated strategies. They were the ones who understood that their talent was a critical engine — and who built that engine deliberately, not reactively.

That insight is what eventually led me to found Lotus Vision Advisors. My previous roles in human resources include Vice President (Americas) at The Economist Group, Director at Boehringer Ingelheim, Senior Director Organizational Effectiveness at Spectrum and Sr Director Corporate Learning and Leadership Development at Spectrum. My foundational HR experience was built at Coca-Cola India, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance and GE Capital International Services. I am an accredited (ICF -ACC) coach. My college education encompasses a BA Economics, an MA Business Economics and an MBA.

How I Work

Strategy is the anchor. Every talent decision I help you make, points back to your business priorities — not to best practices borrowed from someone else's context.

I diagnose systems, not symptoms. Delivering a program is easy. Understanding what is actually broken and why is harder — and far more useful. I treat the root cause, not the presenting problem.

Culture is never a footnote. How a leader needs to show up is always culture-specific. I help leaders develop the cross-cultural agility to read cultural differences accurately — and lead effectively across all of them.

Insight without application is just analysis. My measure of success is not a compelling framework or a well-received workshop. It is the gap closed between what a leader knows and what they actually do.

In coaching, you lead. I follow your goals, your context, and your pace — not a program. The most powerful coaching moments happen when the next step feels intuitive rather than imposed.

What Keeps Me in This Work

My most rewarding moments are when a conversation creates genuine mutual understanding, the next steps feel intuitive rather than imposed, and a client sees how much impact a simple, context-specific action can have. That is what I am here for.
